Initially established on a farm just outside Durbanville, Cape Town, Biodiesel Centre moved to Stikland in July 2007 It manufactures Biodiesel and builds and sells a range of Biodiesel Plants of variying capacities ranging from 600 litres / batch ( as seen on Carte Blanche ) to the largest plant capable of producing 20,000 litres per day. Turnkey mega projects are also undertaken with the support of a large network of contacts throughout the world.

Our history stems from farming , grain trading ( specifically Canola) and animal feeds from which the business started in 1991. When low oil seed prices caused us to think of adding value where better to go than to cleaner greener Biofuels Save the ozone layer and get waste vegetable oil out of the food chain was the thought.

The midrange and upper range equipment we now market was developed in conjunction with very innovative man Org Niewoud from the Eastern Cape and is Branded BIOFUELSON

Neville Murray a Mechanical Engineer and the originator of the Business Travelled far and wide ( USA, Germany,Holland,UK) to study the technology and source equipment. The cost of importing was thought to be prohibitive and eventually it was decided to develop a wholly SouthAfrican biodiesel plant.

There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that Biofuels are here to stay and we have had an amazing 100 % success rate in terms of customer satisfaction for plants sold to date. Customers are happy , making their own diesel and referring new customers . Our technology , quality and effectivesss seem to be highly competitive. As there are many ways to make Biodiesel we are continually researching and testing new systems that our clients will be exposed to at very little extra cost. The plants sold can also be tailored to be Grow plants and can be expanded with little extra cost and very quickly.
